Maker Melissa
Aspiring Inventor
In my previous career, I was a Full Stack Web Developer. That means I was able to work on the back end, front end, and anything in between. After over 20 years of working in that field, I decided to change my career to something closer to what I felt passionate about. While I still code more often than not on the average day, and I love technology, I realized I was a maker at heart and sharing the things I make is what my YouTube channel is all about.
I started working with electronics since I was a little kid. It started with trying to figure out how circuits worked and how to repair things. Once I received an electronic project kit from Radio Shack, that's when I went from more curiosity to actually learning. I've also always possessed an aptitude for understanding how mechanisms worked and though I haven't had any formalized training on the subject, I am always learning.
Learning new skills has been one of the things I have enjoyed doing and has served me well with getting into 3D printers, to learning programming, to learning how to make my own tools.
All of this has helped me to work towards one of my lifelong goals, which is to be an inventor. Join me on my YouTube channel as I make exciting new projects, learn new skills, and see what new things I can invent.
